Santa Monica / Fairfax
7th Steet Metro Center
7th Street Metro Center is an existing light rail and subway transfer station tying together Metro’s B (Red), D (Purple), A (Blue), and E (Expo) Lines beneath the heart of the Downtown Los Angeles Financial District. Nearby destinations include the Bloc Shopping Center and downtown job centers. Crenshaw North would be just one short transfer away along either B (Red), D (Purple), or E (Expo) Lines and in many cases will reduce the need for riders to travel downtown to transfer between these existing lines.

Metro is currently studying which of the three remaining alternative routes the project should take. The La Cienega/Beverly and Santa Monica/San Vicente stations would only be included in the project if Metro selects the San Vicente Hybrid route. The Santa Monica/Fairfax station would only be included if Metro selects the San Vicente Hybrid or Fairfax routes. If you want Metro to include these stations, please email them at crenshawnorth@metro.net or sign up for the email list below to be notified about upcoming opportunities to weigh in during Metro’s process!
