Downtown Inglewood

A new light rail station is currently under construction in Downtown Inglewood as part of the under construction southern portion of the Metro Crenshaw/LAX Line. The City of Inglewood is also separately working on a new people mover system that will connect the Crenshaw/LAX Line to the Forum, SoFi Stadium, and the future Intuit Dome. Crenshaw North will connect Mid City, WeHo, and Hollywood directly to existing Inglewood destinations as well as the rapidly expanding entertainment district.

Metro is currently studying which of the three remaining alternative routes the project should take. The La Cienega/Beverly and Santa Monica/San Vicente stations would only be included in the project if Metro selects the San Vicente Hybrid route. The Santa Monica/Fairfax station would only be included if Metro selects the San Vicente Hybrid or Fairfax routes.
